FREE AI TRAINING SESSIONS NOW AVAILABLE AS PART OF NEW PROGRAMME

Digital Isle of Man has today launched 'LearnAI.im', an online learning tool dedicated to helping Isle of Man residents enhance their AI literacy.

LearnAI.im, a key component of the 'ActivateAI' campaign, offers a series of free, instructor-led training sessions and online resources designed to equip the local community with AI knowledge and skills.

The LearnAI.im training portal offers a free online library of training materials, including curated external courses with certification options and custom content for all, with new content updated and added every week. Topics include ‘AI for Everyone’, and beginner guides to AI tools and software.

Residents can also register for free in-person AI training sessions. These sessions are conducted by industry experts and seek to provide practical training based on real-world applications of AI for business and personal use, whether at a basic or advance skill level.  All sessions are held at the Launchpad in Douglas, with a range of available times, running over a six-week period from 2 September to 10 October. Topics include:

• “AI - The fundamentals without the tech jargon”
• “AI in a day's work: rethinking admin”
• “Responsible AI for Senior Executives”
• “AI-enhanced communication & marketing for your business”
• “How to deploy AI in SMB and Enterprises”

LearnAI.im is open to all Isle of Man residents, providing an inclusive opportunity for individuals, businesses, third sector and public sector organisations to advance their understanding of AI and its potential to transform operations and drive growth.

The training sessions have been introduced as part of ActivateAI, a broader initiative aimed at increasing AI awareness, education and adoption across the Isle of Man. Supported by the Economic Strategy Board, the campaign focuses on equipping businesses and residents with the necessary skills to integrate AI solutions, with the overarching goal of contributing to a 10% increase in GDP by 2030 through AI implementation in both public and private sectors.
